Ayr Curling Club are very confident that curling will go ahead this season, with a scheduled Opeing Day on 28 September 2020.

Scottish Curling have produced a document, dated 11 June 2020, on how curling may be played. The earliest possible start would be in Phase 3 of the Scottish Government's Route Map.

The Club's annual Pairs competition took place at Ayr Ice Rink on Wednesday 4th March 2020. The event was well supported with 8 pairs taking to the ice allowing a straight knockout format starting with quarter finals. The game format was slightly changed from previous years with the curlers delivering 4 stones at each of the 3 ends.

An Ayr and Alloway rink comprising Liz Tait, Linda Wilson and Allan Chapman skipped by Neil Beattie came up against a strong Dundonald rink skipped by Jennifer Mutter in the Ayrshire Province KO on 19th February.
