Parish Trophy 16 January 2022

An Ayr and Alloway rink comprising Alan McKinlay (skip), David Gray, Hugh Kennedy and Allan Chapman took part in the Parish Trophy against a strong Dundonald rink skipped by Morag Evans.

Dundonald started well with a 3 at the first end with A&A responding with a 2 at the second. At the following 2 ends Dundonald scored doubles to stretch to a 7-2 lead. A&A scored a single at the 5th end. Dundonald then scored a single followed by a double to lead 10-3 after 7 ends. A handshake was then offered to finish the game and retire to the bar.

A comfortable win for Dundonald in the end with the game played as always in a friendly spirit.
