AACC entertain Disnae Club

Ayr & Alloway arranged a match against the Disnae Club on 7 March 2022, to give them match practice. Disnae have been very successful this year in recruiting new members, through the Try Curling and coaching classes. Many of their members work, so only five were available for this afternoon match, but AACC members stepped up to fill the places and make four full rinks. 

It was an excellent afternoon of curling, playing six ends, which gave time for the more experienced players to explain some the strategy and tactics.  There are clearly some very good players in Disnae, and AACC would be delighted to welcome any of them into our club. Ayr & Alloway is one of the largest clubs playing at Ayr, with over 50 members.

The day was rounded off with coffee and scones and plenty of chatter!
