Ayr & Alloway were represented by four gallants- Skip Neil Beattie, John McLeod, Alan McKinlay and Ken Gray who faced the full curling hurricane of Galston – Skip Robert Anderson, Tom Andrews, Jim Boswell and Ed Baines!! (Who??)

Much good curling, but despite moments of brilliance from our rink which Galston matched unfortunately. A good game played in a warm friendly manner resulted in Galston as worthy winners  9-1— one end preserved  A&A’s dignity.( Large drinks followed, I presume. Editor?)
