The Points competition attracted 11 players, who chose to put themselves through the rigours of shot making, in 8 disciplines, ranging from striking to guarding, and even in-wicking.

David Gray was on top form and scored a very creditable 43 points. Ken Gray was also in fine form, and was a close second on 39.  Graham Boyd was third.

For those of you who shun the idea of Points, it is great fun and no reason for anyone to be embarrassed. There is a suggestion that it should be compulsory for all skips to play next year, with their scores being published.
